JUST DON'T

You can say that you believe that there is a God. You can say that you are a religious person of some sort but don't follow any religious texts.

But don't you dare call yourself a Christian when you don't even agree with the Bible.

The Bible was given to us so that we may know 1) the History of God and His people up until the coming of Christ (AKA, Old Testament) and 2) Know about Christ and His Teachings (AKA, the New Testament).

This all kinda got to me when I recently saw and heard too many dumb ass teenagers say "I'M A CHRISTIAN BUT THE BIBLE IS CRAP" or "I BELIEVE IN GOD BUT I DON'T LIKE THAT VERSE RITE HERE", or even better: "I'M A CHRISTIAN BUT I BELIEVE IN REINCARNATION AND GAY STUFF AND I IZ A THERIAN,"

Sorry guys, but the Bible is what it is, and you are not following the same faith if you don't agree with the Word of God. I mean, how can one be a Buddhist if they don't like what Buddha had to say about Enlightenment? Or how can one be a Muslim when they don't know their Pillars of faith?

Likewise, how can one be a Christian without taking the Word seriously, and following it? Although Christianity is centered on accepting God's love, He gave us the Bible to teach ourselves of our faith and how to follow it, and to spread it to others. If you don't like what it says, then God says, "GTFO MAH RELIGION" _{lol I'm going to Hell for that}

GROW A SPINE AND JUST SAY YOU'RE NOT A TRUE CHRISTIAN ALREADY.

You people amuse me. So far I have snobby athiests laughing and chided me like a child.

I fucking love it.

It's prejudice folk like you who embarress athiests who are tolerant towards those of other faiths or ideologies. It's jerks like you who help create a divide between the peoples of different beliefs, thus preventing a peace between those said peoples.

Thank you, oh "open-minded" fools, for showing the world that it is not the beliefs, but those who are rude about them, that keep civilization from being completely tolerant of varying faiths.
